Day 1 completed….

Well we did it!! 26km over the Pyrenees – we climbed 1400m and crossed an international border (into Spain). We’re now enjoying a pre dinner aperitif in a posada (coaching inn) that dates back to 1612.

Depressingly, the sign outside says there are still 790km to Santiago – but we’ve already done 26, so what happened!!?

  1. Well done Hilary is very jealous 790 to go I make it that if you have two glasses of whatever at each stop you will drink a minimum of 130glasses of whatever Go for it Edward

      Thanks for the comments – much appreciated. Many many times. It’s been a fantastic experience so far. Have now been walking for 17 days and around 400km.
